We chose this restaurant because they will prepare your fresh hooked catch of the day and serve it with sides for about $12. Seems like a fantastic idea... if the "cook" knew how to properly prepare fish. We even ordered it 3 ways, Blackened, Grilled, and Fried. All 3 were over cooked and on the dry side. Even the fried fish was dry. Thankfully the blackened had a little flavor to it but neither it or the grilled wahoo flaked like it should have when I forked it! But the icing on the cake was, Nikki, the server. Visibly texting on her phone, playing with and smoking an e-cig inside while our drinks sat empty. Then copped an attitude when we had to get her attention and call her over to get refills. I now see with the service and food why the place was empty at dinner time. Very sad excuse for a "bistro". Also make sure to check your bill for "extras" was charged for a soda we didn't have.

Unfortunately it's hit or miss with this place... If you are willing to gamble, try it out. But note: prime rib is horrible, gravy is horrible , mashed potatoes horrible, tasteless fettucini Alfredo with bland chicken, ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING... Waitress looked at me like I sprouted another head when we did not want a box to take our leftovers home... Seriously, would not feed that crap to my dogs.... Have had decent burgers there and decent fried mahi.... They need to stick to basic grilled and fried food... Everything else seems to be inedible....

Had the steak Alfredo dinner and it was most definitely the best I've had in awhile, the staff were all so nice and attentive, even the Managment was on the floor making sure everyone was taken care of. Will definitely try their breakfast menu when we head for home in a few days

First, I dedicate this review to Joe. You know who you are. Too bad Yelp doesn't have the option of negative stars, 2 1/2 stars is 2 stars too many. Possibly the worst cheeseburger I've ever tried to eat. Oh, and let us not forget the overcooked, super salty tots. Best thing I can say, it's close to home. Almost forgot...$11 for a burger & tots is a bit much.

I guess the owners have changed but Lisa (current owner) sure knows what she is doing. Best lunch special ever: $6 for the biggest 1/2 club sandwich (they have other options) and a cup of homemade soup. The chef should be proud of him or herself. Everything I've tried has been so great! Can't believe the negative reviews. Definitely don't knock this one till you try it. For Big Pine, I'd even give it 6 stars. Kim, our server over the last 4 weeks, has been fantastic and accommodating as well.

My first time here. The service was excellent. The food was pretty good... for the area (read: along the Overseas Highway). They are open from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily. Dinner entrees served after 5:00 PM. On the menu: seafood, sandwiches, steak and pasta. Kids menu as well. Plenty of large screen TVs in the bar area.

Really bad food. Name and menu suggests restaurant, however, its just a bar with tables near the bar. Loud drunks yelling while I sat there. Still doesn't mean they have bad food....so I tried, and YIKES...no good. Chicken alfredo was grainy ..not cooked long enough to melt the cheese in the sauce. When you add gratuity, the service should be guaranteed but, same as the food. Waitress picked up our glasses for refill by putting one of her fingers in the top of the glass. I saw her refill then bring back. Keep your germs to yourself. HA, not only did I pay for the drink, I paid for her to do that with the added gratuity. Burgers not to bad, but pricey. Burgers would be rated a 5 out of 10. .
